The device keeps taking orders and payments through a short outage and syncs as soon as the connection is back. For long outages a backup connection is advisable, as in any venue.
It is the loyalty module for hospitality: coupons, stamps, reviews and a diner record through a QR code on the table. It costs 29 €/month on its own, or 49 €/month for both in the pack with the kiosk.
